Halloween!!

We have had a big weekend! Friday night we went to Boo at the Zoo with Stephanie and Ginger, Shaun and the boys.. It was a great night the weather was so nice and we had such a great time.. Saturday night we had trunk or treat at church which was also a good time.. Nemo was a big hit!!

Weekend of fun!

This weekend was a busy one.Lauren came in town and stayed a few days. As you can see Hunter enjoyed sharing an apple with her! We also went to the fair with Lauren, Leslie and the kids. Hunter loved seeing the animals. The pigs made him laugh. Today it was off to church with his new bow tie he is becoming such a little man.

Saturday October 2nd my family and I had a life changing event. Hunter and I got up and got dressed to go to the breast cancer walk and that is what I know but not what I remember. What happened to us on this day has been pieced together to me by others. We were in a head on collision at 7:30am by a drunk driver in Blythewood, SC. I remember nothing!!! I am not sure I can type everything but the pictures say a lot. My car had a six disc CD changer and the one that was ejected out on the seat was "God be with you" and he was. Hunter is fine all he has is a scratch in his chin. I had to stay in the hospital for two nights and have a lot of scraps, bruises and a broken wrist that now has three pins after a surgery and a bruised lung. It is going to be a long and bumpy road but we are soooo blessed. Thank you to everyone who has been there for our family and all the prayers. I thank god for everything with out him Hunter and I would not be here. We are blessed! My life will never be the same. Please continue prayers for us.

Hunter is now standing and walking around things!! I never thought that Hunter would be giving me my work out.. I have also been busy making Hunter a quilt from some of his old shirts.. I think that it looks great if I say so myself =) Today we went to lunch with Ginger and the boys and Ginger went and had some much needed time to herself and we went to the bookstore and you can see they had a great time.. This is the only thing that makes me think that even if Hunter is an only child he will never be alone =)

Ticks, Soccer and Doctors!!

Well this week started off a little crazy.. Hunter had a tick on him!! As you can imagine this freaked me out but Gayle got it off and we are just watching him now.. When Thursday came around we were ready for a break so it was off to see Spencer and Andrew play soccer.. They did such a good job.. Then we headed into town to have dinner at LHOP and you can see that Hunter and Grandaddy had a great time..Friday we had a full day of doctor visits first we went to the eye doctor where we learned that everything is perfect with Hunters eyes =) Then it was back to the house for therapy which went well.. After that it was back to town to go and see the surgeon who I have to say I will not be going back to!! Right now we are on hold until we can get a second surgeon to look at him .. Saturday morning I took Hunter to his doctor and found out that he had an ear infection =( so we are on some antibiotics.. Well that was our week !!

Boating Fun!!

So the picture of Hunter on the boat is a little late but thanks to Audrey and her iphone I was able to get a picture of us on the boat =) Also this week Brandon and some of his friends took the boat out down in Charleston..It looks like they had fun

First hair cut and xrays!

Today was a big day for the little guy! We started out at Audrey's shop in Blythewood for our first hair cut. Both of them did great. We really didnt cut much off just around his ears and a little in he back. Then we had to go to xray place. Good news is that everything looks good other than him have a little torticollis (ok like we didn't know that!) Now we have to go and see they eye doc and also the surgeon. I just wish one person could tell us what we should do. He just seems so perfect to me and I want to do whats right for him but its hard to know what that is when you have a million people telling you different things.

A weekend with Uncle Matt

This weekend we got to see Matt.. He got here on friday at around 3pm which gave us almost the whole day with him..That night Matt and Brandon and the guys went night fishing but they only got one fish so maybe it was like riding a boat with fishing poles?? The next day we got up early to go to the zoo.. We had a great time and finally got to feed the giraffes and Hunter at fist thought that the food was for him =) After a nice hot day at the zoo it was off to walk around the college book store then Matt did what i normally would do he bought a new truck!! The next day was another early one to head to the beach.. we had a great day!! Hunter didnt like the beach I am thinking because it was a little loud?? Brandon and I both have marks from him holding on to us.. Monday Matt headed home and we headed up to the lake and I finally took Hunter out on the boat for the first time and I have to say that I think he loved it.. The picture at the bottom is of Hunter when he got home and had crazy boat/sun screen hair.. It was one of the best weekends in a long time =)

9 months and family pictures!

Well its crazy to say but Hunter is now 9 months old.. He is waving bye bye to everyone and now saying mama.. He is still working on crawling but getting there.. We are down to wearing the helmet at night now.. He is just getting to be such a big boy.. We had our pictures taken by Melissa they turned out great here are just a few..

My baby Hunter!!

I wanted to take a minute just to tell you about what an amazing baby I have.. Brandon has told me that sometimes I have a very negative attitude and I really have to say that last few months I think he is right.. I have let Hunter's things with his neck and helmet stuff get me down never once really stopping to realize what a amazing person he is.. Hunter has been sleeping through the night from 9 till at least 7am since he was 3months old.. Hunter has a tooth coming in and really hasn't been that fussy about it.. He has now learned how to wave bye bye.. He holds his own bottle when you give it to him.. Best of all he knows when Brandon and I are in a room and loves us so much.. Its very easy to get pulled down by negative things in our lives and take all the good things and push them to the side I am going to live my life the best I can and not take one minute for granted with Brandon and Hunter I love them both some much!!

What a month!!

I forgot that I hadn't been on here to post pictures from fathers day.. I love the picture of Hunter and Brandon they look so much a like.. Hunter and I have been on the go.. For the weekend of the fourth Hunter and I were off to KY.. It was really nice because Matt is living at my dads so we got to see him as well.. We had a great weekend,,but we didn't stay up late enough for fireworks =( We came home for a few days and then it was back to the airport to go to Idaho for a week.. As you can see we had a great time.. Hunter loves to be out in the grass.. I wish we had grass here and that there weren't all the fire ants.. We got to spend a lot of time with Grandma and Great Grandma it was the best!!I have to say that I really have a hard time leaving my family but we look forward to the next time we get to go..
