A big kid with his toy!

Brandon got a zero turn lawn mower a few weeks ago and he has been like a little kid with a new toy! This morning he woke me up at 6 something saying he wanted to get up and get the lawn looking good! Ok well dont wake me next time! The lawn does look good thank you!

YW Christmas Party!

Friday we had the Christmas party for the YW at my house. The dress was PJs which always makes for a good party. We ate pizza and watched Napoleon Dynamite. Then we played the Wii which was a lot of fun. Thank you to everyone who came it was a lot of fun!

New Member of the Family!

On friday we got a new car! Its a 2007 BMW X3. Its really nice too! I told Lindsay that I am her mini me she got and X5 this weekend! I guess its not the Highlander we were looking for but I think I can make it do! Now all we need to put in the SUV is a baby!

A day in DC to a day in NYC!!

This weekend I made my way up to D.C. for the weekend. Friday my dad had the day off so we headed down town to look around. I got to meet the President! He is a little shorter than what you would think! (LOL)

Then it was down to the Capital. We were able to take a tour inside which was really cool. The best thing about D.C. is that everything is free so you can go and look around and not feel bad if you only have a hour or three.

Then on Saturday it was off to New York! Which I have never been. We went on a travel bus which was nice because you didnt have to worry about traffic of parking!

First stop was to get some breakfast! We got up at 4am that morning so by the time we got there we needed something!

Then you know me I forgot to bring a hat and it was a warm 30 something degrees so I talked a vendor down to $5 for a hat. worth every penny!

We stopped in at the M&M store. Sorry Shaun I was going to pick you up some peanut ones but they were $12 a lbs so I just took a picture by a big M&M!

After some shopping in a few stores or I should say waiting in long lines it was time for some lunch at Planet Hollywood!

We ended the trip with a walk by the

Christmas tree and Radio city! Which was so packed you felt like a ping pong ball! We had a really good time! And we even got SNOW at my dad's house!!! Thank you Dad and LaAnna for having me up this weekend I had a great time!

Thanksgiving!!!

We had a great Thanksgiving at our house! Well not our house but we went to Brandon's uncle Byron's house. We ate a lot of good food and then went on a golf cart ride which was a little high speed for me. Look on Ginger's blog and you can read more about that. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

The Beach!

This weekend we went down to the beach! We stayed in Brandon's grandparents camper. We had a lot of fun but it was COLD!! I guess its not really beach weather in November but it was still fun!

Long time no post!

Its been a while since I have posted anything. We have been really busy. Last weekend we had the Family Fun Day. Which I forgot to bring my camera to so you will have to look at Tonya's blog. It was a really good day to have the fund raiser. Then after that it was off to a baby shower for a girl in my ward. She is having a little boy! Then on sunday we had our Evening of Excellence for Young Women which was great! I am so blessed to be serving with such great women and happy that I can be there for the young women. This thursday was Carson's birthday the big 2!!! We had dinner and cake up at Brandon's grandparents house it was a lot of fun. And as you can see the birthday boy had a great time! This weekend we are off to the beach so I will take some pictures while we are down there.

Early Christmas Gift!

Thank you Grandma! I have been wanting a antique to put in the house. So my Grandma told me she would buy me one for Christmas if I found one. Ginger and I found one that wasn't all that bad in Camden. However this weekend Lesie and I had a work meeting and after that she told me about a cool place in Columbia to look and I found it! I think it is really great Brandon doesn't like it but its mine now.

Halloween and Hay Rides!

We had a really busy and fun weekend! Friday night we had a party at Tonya & Tim's house. It was a lot of fun we had food, a fire and friends what more do you need. Then Saturday night was the youth hay ride. I am so thankful to be in the young women's program they are a great group of girls!
