Tornadoes and The Big Game

Yesterday (Saturday) we had a storm move in. I have to say that in Idaho we have snow but snow is nothing compared to a tornado! I got off work at 5pm and I got a call from Tiawanna and she told me not to come home the tornado was getting ready to hit. So I went in to Target and as you can see by the pictures its a good thing that I didn't rush home because I would have been right there when it hit. I have to say that I was very scared and if wasn't for being in Target with people I didn't know I would have been crying. Tonight was our last game and we ended up in second but that's ok better than last!

Sewing 101

Tonight was a really fun night. The Wood family, The Christensen Family and the Sisters all came over tonight. We had a little project that we worked on. Sister Oakley helped Ginger and I make PJ pants. It was a lot of fun. As you can see by the end of the night we had our new pants on. Also I think that the kids had a good time playing the Wii. I think Brandon had some baby fever.

A day with the boys

Today was a great day. First Ginger and the boys and I went to get some fabric for a project( more news on that to fallow) after which we met Ashley and her crew for lunch. I have to say that if you need birth control just go to the Chick Fila play area I think that will keep me from having kids for a while LOL! Then I was able to watch Spencer and Andrew during the afternoon. We had such a great time. We made some cookies and watched some movies. Around 5pm Spencer told me he was a little hungry and he needed some dinner so we made some mac & cheese as you can see it was a big hit. Then Lindsay and Daisy came over for dinner and a movie we had such a great time. I am so thankful for all the great family and friends I have.

A Crazy Week!

We have had a busy week around our house. It seems like just when you think things are slowing down that's when you have more going on. On Sunday we got some great news Lindsay and Marshall are having a baby! I am so happy for them I cant wait to find out what they are having its so much fun to buy for babies. Then on Tuesday I took Oscar to get his nails clipped. I think we spend more money on him then anybody. As you can tell we left with a toy. Tonight we had the Sisters and Janet over for dinner it was really nice. As you can tell I am having trouble sleeping so I cleaned the house and am catching up on my Blog!

Girls Day

Ginger came met me at 10:45 and we were off. Our first stop was to get our hair cut. It was really nice to have someone cut my hair. I wont even say how long its been. Gingers hair cut turned out great and I really like mine I just hope Brandon likes it. Then we went out shopping lots to see but we didn't go overboard. Then it was off to Subway to pick up the food for tonight. We are having girls night and we made a little treat. I must say if you see the edible grass don't get it!!

Happy Birthday!!

A weekend full of birthdays first happy birthday to my brother Matt his birthday was yesterday the 8th. Today was Spencers birthday! I was happy to be able to have the day off work so I could go to his party. As you can see everyone had a great time. Later Addi came over to get her hair done for the Mr. LE. She is the date to one of the guys! I think it turned out great.

A BIG Project

I dont know what made me want to paint I guess I was just sick of the laundry room. So I started painting on Thursday and by the time Brandon got home it was a mess. Thankfully he was able to put me back on track. As you can see I think it turned out great.

Well so far I have made two hats and a half of a scarf. I am trying to work on them but I must say this is a lot harder than pillows and blackets.

Church Service Projects!

Tonight we started a new service project. We are making hats, scarves, and some pillows for the shelters in the area. Thanks to sister Polly I learned how to start a scarf maybe by next week I will have one done. If nothing else we know I can make a pillow. I have to say a big thanks to Sister Polly she has been the best teacher.

Hope Chest!

Well I am making another deposit into the hope chest. These Robeez came into work and they are so cute!! I guess if we have a little boy he isn't going to be happy. This last week has been a busy one. I helped Ginger start to paint Brandon's its looking good. This week is off to a good start I scored a goal last night and we won both our games. If anyone wants to come I think all our games are at 7pm the rest of the season.

SNOW!!!!

When Brandon and I went to go to bed we looked outside and there was snow everywhere! We went out and took a drive to check it out .

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a great Christmas. We had a great one but everyone did way to much. I guess that's how it always goes when you try and cut back it never happens! Thank you again to everyone. Oh and by the way the car wasn't ours it was a December fools joke.

Friday 12/21/07

Tonight we had our Christmas at home. First we went to a movie with Jeff and Heather it was fun but very busy out at Sandhills. Again everybody did way to much. thank you! Sunday we leave for my dad's for Christmas. Merry Christmas to everybody.

Thursday 12/20/07

Today we added a new member to the family my brother brought home Maddie. She is a Siberian Husky that was born on November 11th. Welcome to the family!

Wednesday 12/19/07

On wednesday I had a pretty full day but also a fun day. Ginger and the boys came and picked me up. We did some visiting teaching and some running around. Later that night the family went out to Lugoff House of Pizza ( thank you agian Tiawanna). After that we went to Ginger and Shaun's to unwrap gifts everyone did way to much. I was just glad that we all got to be together!

Holiday Lights!

Brandon and I spent the day together we had a lot of fun. We did a lot of nothing which I think made it fun. It was nice to not have some where to be every second of the day. The big thing we did was to go to Saluda Shoals Park to look at the lights. They were great. Its really worth the drive out there.

A big day for little Oscar

We had a very busy day. We took Oscar to see Santa. I am not sure was more worried about who Santa or Oscar? After we were done there we went to BR to get a milk shake. The lady asked if we wanted a dog treat I said sure and she came back with a big bowl of ice cream. I think he liked it what do you think? After that is was off to a family get together. On our way there Brandon saw something on the side of the road and it was three BIG turkeys. They didn't like us they chased us the whole way out of the yard.

Cupcakes

Today I had the gang over to have some pizza and make cupcakes. Ashley brought a great idea to make them look like rain deer. They looked great and tasted great. It was alot of fun.
